Walk-in-Interview on 8th July for the post of JRF in DST sponsored project and PA II under XIIth Five year plan CSIR-CSMCRI

General Conditions:-
JRF: 1 post
Qualifications: M.Sc. with 55% marks having NET or NET (LS) or GATE/ B.Tech with GATE or M.Tech (Plant Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Botany/Life Sciences)
Fellowship: CSIR NET JRF or GATE qualified candidates will receive a fellowship of Rs. 25000/- pm. + 20 % HRA as per the rules.
Age: Candidates should not be more than 28 years as on the date of interview. However, upper age limit may be relaxed as per CSIR rules.
Job Description: Selected candidates have to work on ongoing DST sponsored project entitled “Study of NAC family of transcription factors from halophyte Aeluropus lagopoides for multiple stress tolerance in plants”.
PA II: 02 post
Qualifications: M.Sc. with 55% marks (Plant Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Botany/Life Science).
Fellowship: Rs. 12000/- pm or as per the institutional rule.
Age: Candidates should not be more than 28 years as on the date of interview. However, upper age limit may be relaxed as per CSIR rules.
Job Description: Selected candidates have to work on isolation of salt responsive transcription factors and genes from halophyte plants and their characterization in plants by transgenic approach.

Walk-in-Interview will be held on 8th July 2015 at 10.30 am at CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar, Gujarat.
The candidates are requested to bring attested/self attested copies of certificates/ testimonials to be produced at the time of interview. The candidates are also requested to bring following documents along with them:
1. Original Certificates(s), Marksheet(s) (Degree/Diploma, etc.) of the educational qualifications, certificate in support of the date of birth etc.
2. Original Experience Certificates, Testimonials etc.
The post is purely temporary for duration of sponsored project only. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR. No traveling or any other allowances is admissible for attending the interview.
