The PhD positions are on a full-time basis and come with a competitive salary and teaching assistantship. PhD students are integrated in the Swiss Doctoral Program of Mathematics, jointly offered with neighboring universities.
Inquiries and applications should be sent by email to jobs-math@unifr.ch and should include a letter of motivation, a curriculum vitae, a list of courses taken in mathematics, and a description of the candidate’s research interests. Moreover, two letters of recommendation should be mailed to the same address above, ideally directly by the letter writers. There is no deadline for applications.
