The project concerns research in the area of nonlinear waves with focus on models of micromagnetism. The appointment is within the applied analysis group, which focusses on spectral theory and nonlinear dynamics for differential equations: http://www.anan.math.uni-bremen.de.The salary level is 0,5 13 TVL for three years under the condition of job release and the appointment is as a scientific assistant, which includes some teaching assistance in http://positions.dolpages.com/multiple-chamberlain-fellowships-in-physics-and-cosmology-usa-2015/mathematics courses and support of the group activities.
Requirements
An excellent Msc or diploma degree by a university and a background knowledge in the theory differential equations are required, as well as the commitment to learn about the new field and support the research in this area.
