Postdoctoral Research Associate – Multi-Component Supramolecular Gels at Faculty of Science and Engineering, School of Physical Sciences, Department of Chemistry

We are seeking to recruit a creative and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Research Associate to undertake research on supramolecular hydrogels and their application in multi-component systems. In this EPSRC-funded project, you will characterise mixtures of low molecular weight gelators, and design specific types of two-component networks. You should have a PhD in Chemistry or Materials Science with excellent characterisation skills. Working in the Department of Chemistry, with excellent facilities, you will have access to state-of-the-art instrumentation for materials preparation and characterisation. The post is available until 30 September 2017 initially.

Salary: £32,277 – £37,394 pa
