You are invited to apply for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position to work within and offer support to Professor Duncan Bruce’s research group during his tenure as Head of Department, which commences on 1 September 2015. This post consists of the following major elements: (i) undertaking a research project in the area of ionic liquids; (ii) providing day-to-day support to Professor Bruce’s research group.

This will suit you if you have experience in synthetic chemistry, in particular with ionic liquids and perhaps some aspects of their physical property determination.  You are expected to have an appropriate PhD level qualification commensurate with the job description for the post.

The post is fixed-term for a period of up to 48 months and will be available from 1st September 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter.
