The Emory Institute for Drug Development (EIDD) has a number of fully funded postdoctoral positions available for outstanding synthetic chemists who are highly motivated and want to apply their skills in a way that will make a tangible impact on real-world problems.
We are a growing institute, currently numbering 20+ researchers, dedicated to the discovery and development of antiviral drugs for emerging pathogens and biodefense threats. We offer state-of-the-art facilities and a multidisciplinary research environment staffed with successful and renown thought leaders from both industry and academia. Our research programs, both internally and collaboratively, encompass the full range of experience and capabilities to move projects from the stage of academic innovation, through to regulatory submission of an IND both internally and with industrial partners.
Our chemistry group currently has postdoctoral openings in our medicinal chemistry group. Successful candidates will work closely with experienced, multidisciplinary project leaders and expand their skill set with the tools needed to design, synthesize, test and advance effective new therapies.
