The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Department of Civil Engineering has an opening for a postdoctoral research associate. The research associate will develop an engineered nanomaterial based filtration device to produce sterile water for medical purposes.Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, material science or a closely related field. Experience with nanomaterial synthesis and characterization, membrane filtration, environmental microbiology, and general water quality analysis are desired.
The appointment will be offered for one year, with possible renewal, depending on the availability of funding and satisfactory performance of the research associate.
