SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY PARKS OF INDIA (An Autonomous Society under Govt, of India, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Department of Electronics and Information Technology). Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) is providing Statutory Services to the exporters under STP/EHTP scheme and also extending infrastructural facilities including High Speed Internet and IPLC links.
STPI at present has 53 centers at different locations in the country. Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up various group ‘A’ S&T vacancies given below. The vacancies are proposed to be filled up by Transfer (absorption)/Direct Recruitment basis. Appointment made on Direct Recruitment basis shall be on contract basis for a period of three years which is likely to be regularized/extended/terminated depending upon the performance of the candidate during contract service.

Note: Out of 04 vacancies, 01 post is lien vacancy which shall be filled up on purely contract basis for a period of three years. The contract shall be automatically terminated on the expiry of the contract or return of the regular incumbent of the post whichever is earlier. The appointment may be regularized/extended on the existing norms depending upon the availability of the post.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
For Direct Recruit:
(a) Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Technology with 1st class in Electronics/Electricals/ Electronics & Communications/ Telecommunications/ Computer Science/Information Technology or Masters in Computer Applications with 1 st class or M. Sc. with 1st class in Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Electronics/Applied Electronics/ Information Technology with 17 years experience.
OR
(b) Master Degree in Tech./ Engineering with 1st class in Electronics/ Electricals/Electronics & Communications/ Tele communications/ Computer Science with 15 years experience.
OR
(c) Ph.D. in Science/ Engineering in any of the above mentioned disciplines/inter-disciplines along with qualification mentioned at (a) or (b) above with 12 years of experience.
(d) Candidate possessing qualification as at (a) or (b) above followed by MBA/ Degree in Law would be eligible for two (2) years relaxation in experience.
For Transfer (absorption):
In case of transfer (absorption)/ deputation, officers of the Central / State Government/ PSUs / Autonomous Bodies:
i) holding analogous post on regular basis. OR
having 5 years regular service in PB-4 [Rs.37400-67000] with the Grade Pay of Rs.8700/-.

- ii) possessing qualifications as prescribed for Direct Recruitment.

(c) Ph.D. in Science/ Engineering in any of the above mentioned disciplines/inter-disciplines along with qualification mentioned at (a) or (b) above with 09 years of experience.
(d) Candidate possessing qualification as at (a) or (b) above followed by MBA/ Degree in Law would be eligible for two (2) years relaxation in experience.
For Transfer (absorption):
in case of transfer (absorption)/ deputation, officers of the Central / State Government/ PSUs / Autonomous Bodies:
- i) holding analogous post on regular basis
OR
having 5 years regular service in PB-3 [Rs.15600-39100] with the Grade Pay of Rs.7600/-
AND
- ii) Possessing qualifications as prescribed for Direct Recruitment
How to apply:

Applicants are required to take the printout of the filled in Application Form and send the signed filled-in Application Form complete in all respects along with duly attested copies of certificates (uploaded on the website) relating to qualification), date of birth, experience certificate(s), caste certificate etc. by the last date of receipt of application to the Chief Admin Officer, Software Technology Parks of India, 9th Floor, NDCC-II, Jai Singh Marg., New Delhi -110001 along with an application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) per application by Demand Draft (having three months validity) in favour of ‘Software Technology Parks of India’, payable at New Delhi.
No fee is required to be paid by candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH category. Female candi-dates are also exempted from payment of fee. Fee once paid shall not be refunded.
Persons working in Central/ State Government/PSUs/Autonomous organizations may send their applications through proper channel. It is also requested that advance action may be taken to keep the ACRs/APARs for last 5 years, of those candidates ready along with their latest vigilance profile [(0 penalty imposed, if any during the last 10 years (ii) details disciplinary action initiated/ being initiated if any etc.) to be furnished as and when the selection meeting is scheduled. However, a copy of the application may send in advance for consideration.
Selection process:
Received application by the last date of receipt of application shall be screened and screened-in candidate shall be called for Personal Interview. Candidates recommended by the Selection Committee shall offered appointment.
Last Date of receipt of applications: Within 45 days of the publication of this advertisement in the Employment News. 10 days extra period shall be given in respect of applications received from the candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub – Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh,
