PhD studentships in in Parkinson’s, UK: The grants for brilliant students carrying out research in Parkinson’s disease are now available.

The in Parkinson’s PhD studentship scheme provides full-funding for three years to students based at a UK higher education institution.

Scholarship amount and duration:

• PhD studentship is provided for 3 years to students based at a UK higher education institution.
• stipend of £16,000/year (or £17,000/annum if in London)
• full PhD tuition fees (at the UK/EU rate)
• support of up to £10,000 per year towards research budgets
• Students from outside of the EU are welcome to apply for this scheme on a full fee paying basis.
• Supervisors should contact their university’s research office concerning fees for international students.

Eligibility

1. PhD studentship system does not cover funding gaps for PhD students whose studies have already started.
2. Home and international students must have an Ist or upper IInd class honours degree in a relevant subject.
3. Applications must be made by the prospective student’s supervisor, who must be based at a UK University, hospital/ research institute.
