The Premio Daniel Carasso 2017 applications are now open. The Premio Daniel Carasso is an initiative from the Fondation Daniel et Nina Carasso which was created under the sponsorship of the Fondation de France. The Foundation is active in 2 areas: 1) sustainable food systems and diets to sustain life and 2) art to nourish the mind.
Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must belong to a non-profit organization
- Applicants must take an active part in research work
- Applicants must have been conducting research between 10 and 20 years
- Applicants must benefit from a certain degree of recognition from their peers beyond their national border
- Applicants must have proven an interest and ability to engage with and spread messages to their peers and other actors, including specifically policy-makers.
- Eligibility is not subject to any geographical limitation in terms of nationality or focus of work.

- 2 Letter of recommendation (indicating name and contact details; referee must be from the scientific community)
- The following documents are also required: CV of their scientific career (max 4 pages); overview of their research work (max. 3 pages); list and brief summary of publications.
