Project Assistant Professor in the Field of Experimental Physics of Radiation Imaging at the Kavli Institute For The Physics And Mathematics Of The Universe,, University of Tokoyo
Overview: The Kavli IPMU invites applications for a fixed-term project assistant professor position in the field of experimental physics of radiation imaging.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will have experience designing and manufacturing hard X-ray and gamma-ray imagers for in vivo molecular imaging with a sub-mm spatial resolution, and experience in small-animal experiments using the system.
- Understanding the responses from semiconductor detectors is also required,
- Applicant should be skillful in operating of semiconductor detectors. A Ph.D. in physics is required.
General Features: The appointment will start on April 1, 2018, and is for three (03) years on a non-renewable contract.
