CINEDLI announces 11 positions (PhDs and Postdocs) at NTNU, 02 positions at Faculty of Social Science and Technology Management, Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management, 01 position at Faculty of Humanities, Department of Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture, 08 positions at Faculty of Information Technology, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering, Department of Electric Power Engineering, Department of Engineering Cybernetics and Department of Telematics.

Centre for intelligent electricity distribution (CINELDI) is a cross-disciplinary research. CINELDI will facilitate renewable energy, electrification of transport and more efficient use of energy. This project will contribute to designing the future’s flexible and robust electrical distribution grid at an acceptable cost.

Duration:

  • PhD positions: 3 years; can be extended up to 4 years with 25% teaching assistance in agreement with the host department
  • Postdoc positions: 2 years

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must possess excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Applicant must be able to work independently, as well as in team.

For PhD positions:

  • Applicant must be highly motivated and must hold MSc or education at the equivalent level compliant with the research field of the position (average grade B or better is required).

For Postdoc positions:

  • Applicant is expected to be highly motivated and excellent
  • Applicant must hold PhD and experience in the research field as defined for the position.
  • Applicant with strong publication record, with publications in top level conferences and journals will be preferred.

  • A statement of purpose including an explanation of how your research interests and background would fit the position.
