JRF and RA Positions at DRDO-DIHAR: Walk in Interview for the positions of JRF & RA at the Defence Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR) situated at Leh-Ladakh (J&K). The institute is a frontier institute of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) that endeavors at providing nutrition, health and energy security for the troops through development of cold arid agro-animal technologies and herbal prophylactics.

Positions: 02 Junior Research Fellows & 01 Research Associate

Requirements / Educational Qualifications:

1. Research Associate (01): M.Sc first class and Ph. D. degree in Plant Pathology/ Microbiology/
   Plant Protection. Desirable qualification: Experience on handling of fungal/bacterial disease of agricultural
2. Junior Research Fellows (02): First class M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture / Vegetable Science/ Plant,Breeding & Genetics / Botany/ Zoology/ Vet Sciences/ Bio- Chemistry /Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Plant Pathology/ Agriculture Entomology/Plant Protection with NET/GATE or equivalent qualified are eligible to attend the interview.

Age Limit:

1. The maximum age for Research Associate is 35 years
2. For Junior Research Fellows is 28 years as on date of interview.

The fellowship will be governed by DRDO regulations.

Date of Interview: 15 March 2017 from 1000 hrs onwards at D HAR Base Lab Chandigarh,

Interested candidates are required to submit their Bio-data with photograph along with attested copes of the mark sheets (matriculation onwards) and certificates on reporting at the venue and to poduce original documents at the time of interview.
