Laboratory of Physical Chemistry at ETH Zurich invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Computational Chemistry. The position will be supervised by Prof. Dr. Sereina Riniker’s group for Computational Chemistry. The lab is interested in the development of methods and software for classical molecular dynamics simulations and cheminformatics, and in the application to important biological and chemical questions.
About the project:
- Aim is to investigate the conformational behaviour of glycoproteins in direct collaboration with an experimental group in microbiology.
- The position is available immediately / starting date upon mutual agreement.
Requirements:
- Applicants must hold a PhD degree in Computational Chemistry with a strong background in molecular dynamics simulations of biological systems.
- Applicants with experiences in enhanced sampling techniques and good programming skills (C++) would hold advantage.
- Applicant must be self-motivated with outstanding academic record, excellent communication skills and professional integrity.
