Council of Science & Technology, U.P. (CSTUP) offers summer research fellowships to bright students of M.Sc. First & Second year to work with renowned Professors/Scientists from premier institutes of India.

Duration: 2 months

Number of position: Approximately 30

Fellowship value: monthly stipend of Rs. 25000.00.

Note: The fellowship will be given only for those students who are studying in Uttar Pradesh.

  • Biology (Botany, Zoology, Env. Science, Biotech, etc.)
  • Chemistry (Organic, Inorganic, Physical, Industrial, Medicinal, etc.)

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be presently (academic year 2017-18) studying in Post-Graduation (Science stream, either 1st year or 2nd year) within the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Selection criteria:

  • Merit based
  • 50% students will be selected from U.P. Board and 50% from all other boards, therefore there will be separate merit list for these two categories.
  • Top three (03) candidates of UPCST Science Talent Scholarship Examination, will be directly eligible for CSTUP-Summer Research Fellowship.

  • Applications be submitted online on council portal www.cstup.org
  • Selected candidates will be required to send the hard copy of the application form (generated online) along with relevant documents duly verified by the concerned college/institute to the mailing address of CST, once the merit list is announced.

Note: there is no fee for applying in this programme.
