NEIGRIHMS – 37 Faculty Positions : North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute ff Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) invites Application for 37 Teaching Positions.

Position I: Professor

Number of Vacancy: Twelve (12) Posts

Required Educational Qualifications:

1. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in the sub section (3) of the section 13 of the Act.
2. A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D. or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
3. Fourteen (14) years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
4. The candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.

Pay Scale: INR 37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.10500/-

Position III: Assistant Professor

Number of Vacancy: Twenty (20) Posts

Educational Qualification:

1. A medical qualification (as mentioned above).
2. Ch. (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
3. One (one) year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of M.Ch. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
4. The candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.

Pay Scale: INR
15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.8000/-

Position III: Associate Professor

Number of Vacancy: Five (5) Posts

Required Educational Qualification:

1. A medical qualification (as mentioned above).
2. A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D/MS or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
3. Six (06) years teaching and/or research experience in any recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/MS or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
4. The candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.

Pay Scale: INR 37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.9000/-
