Postdoctoral Position: NMR-based Structural Biology 982 views

The Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry is inviting applications for a 3-year Postdoctoral Position “The role of synuclein in human malignancies” at the Department NMR-based Structural Biology (Prof. Dr. Christian Griesinger). The project will focus on cancer biology and specifically, the role and functions of intrinsically disordered proteins in various human malignancies. The starting date is flexible, but should start as soon as possible.

Requirements:

• Applicant must be highly motivated and enthusiastic scientist with excellent communication skills to join the research team.
• Applicant must hold a PhD, an MD/PhD, or MD degree with extensive research training in Molecular/Cell Biology, and a strong scientific background and interest in basic cancer research.
• Applicant must also have research experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular and cell biology techniques, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence, and human tumor xenograft studies.
• Applicant must possess fluency in written and spoken English; German would be an asset.
