Aarhus University invites applications for 16 highly competitive fully-financed PhD Positions for world-class PhD projects within health science. The Graduate School of Health at the University is recruiting talented, ambitious and highly motivated candidates for three-year fully financed PhD positions.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have a relevant higher education degree. The educational level will be assessed to determine whether it comply with entry requirements.
  • If candidate hold a degree other than a Danish Master’s degree, it can be advisable to get your degree assessed by the Danish Agency for Science and Higher Education before applying.
  • The qualifying degree should not be more than 5 years old and applicants without a prior PhD degree will be preferred.
  • Applicant must be proficient in the English language corresponding to CEFR C1-level (comparable with an ‘English B level’ in the Danish upper secondary school (‘gymnasium’). The test result will be required.
  • Applicant must comply with the project specific qualification requirements.

  • Selected candidates are invited for a recruitment day of interviews, presentations and matchmaking on 14 November 2018 in Aarhus, Denmark.
  • The travel, hotel and visa expenses within a fixed amount will be reimbursed.
  • Successful candidates will receive an offer of enrolment and employment.
  • Next, selected candidates must prepare a final 5-page project description in collaboration with the supervisors before enrolment can commence.
  • Earliest enrolment date is 1 January 2019 and up until six months after receiving the enrolment offer.
