Postdoctoral Research Associate positions at UVA: The University of Virginia (UVA) is is made up of eleven schools and affiliated foundations in Charlottesville plus the College at Wise in Southwest Virginia. UVA, Department of Chemistry, invites online applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the group of Professor W. Dean Harman from eligible bright candidate having extensive experience in organic synthesis, various NMR characterization methods, and separation methods, who is interested in the field-development of novel synthetic organic methods using tungsten transition metal complexes.
Positions: Postdoctoral Research Associate
Location: Charlottesville
Salary: as per norms.
Duration: 12 months (with the possibility of extension for a further 12 months).
Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree PhD in Chemistry or a related field having extensive experience in organic synthesis. Candidates who have Knowledge and proficiency in mechanistic studies as well as experience with 2D NMR techniques, and HPLC will be preferred.
