Chalmers University of Technology invites applications for a postdoctoral position in Pharmaceutical Technology. The main responsibilities of the Postdoc candidate, together with the Pharmaceutical Technology team, will be to investigate possibilities of developing novel materials based on melt extrusion of cellulose based materials to gain a formulation platform for controlled drug release. The focus of the work will be to gain a fundamental understanding of the development of structures during extrusion, characterize the structures using advanced microscopic and scattering methods, and connect the structures to the drug release rates.

Duration: limited to maximum 02 years (1+1); Full-time temporary

Qualifications:

• Candidate must hold a PhD in Polymer technology, Pharmaceutical technology, Material science or equivalent.
