The Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences at Uppsala University invites applications for four PhD student positions associated with the research group Pharmacometrics.
Role and responsibilities:
- The work will involve design and analysis of exposure-response data of drug against tuberculosis.
- Data will be received through a European research consortium where drugs will be developed within the consortium consisting of European drug companies and institutions. Data will be of pre-clinical nature as well as clinical patient data.
- Teaching and other administrative work might be included.
Requirements:
- Applicant should have a suitable undergraduate exam from the area of pharmaceutical science of 4 years full time studies including course work in pharmacokinetics or equivalent.
- Applicant should have social skills, team-player, highly motivated and interested in research within pharmacometrics.
- Applicant should have high communication skills in writing and oral presentation, in Swedish and English.
- Applicant should have experience of pharmacometric research within tuberculosis drug development.
- Applicant should be highly motivated and have a genuine interest in research in the field of pharmacometrics.
