Lecturer/Faculty in Dental Surgery at UoM: The Melbourne Dental School is a one of six schools within the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences, which is organised into five sections for teaching and research purposes. Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Melbourne Dental School, the university of Melbourne (UoM) invited applications from highly motivated researcher who can pursue a dynamic research program involving experimental physics for filling up Lecturer/ Teaching Specialist position in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery to teach in the discipline area of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Doctor of Dental Surgery course, other teaching as directed, and research and administration.

About the position: Selected applicant will be expected to devote a significant proportion of time to the   teaching of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the DDS program and administer coursework proper with the level of the position.

Salary: $102,967 – $122,268 (Level B)

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or equivalent Bachelor Degree with teaching skills , ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team in a coordinated teaching environment and a track record, commensurate to seniority, of academic achievement via publication in top quartile scientific journals. Candidates with PhD or equivalent higher research degree in dental science or Teaching experience in didactic clinical areas/Research experience preferably in clinically-based research will be preferred.
