Postdoc position in Environmental Chemistry at Stockholm University: Stockholm University offers multicultural environment in one of the world’s most dynamic capital cities. The Department of Environmental Science, Stockholm, Sweden invites online applications from a highly motivated bioinformatician, computational biologist and/or biostatistician for filling up the Postdoctoral Fellow position in environmental chemistry for the project INSERT funded by the Swedish EPA. INSERT aims at improving our understanding of the cumulative effects of chemical exposure and other stressors in sediments. This position is focused on environmental chemistry aspects of mixture toxicity and aims at generating knowledge on how mixtures of hydrophobic chemicals contribute to observed effects in benthic amphipods.

About the position: This research is focused on exposure and effects of chemical mixtures includes experimental design and experimental work, chemical analysis of organic micropollutants, interpretation of data and data management, writing, and publishing.

Position: Postdoc Fellow

Duration: 2 years

Salary: As per norms.

Qualification: Interested candidates must have PhD degree in environmental chemistry or equivalent, with knowledge in chemical analysis and environmental fate of organic contaminants. Candidates with Experience in ecotoxicity testing and handling of living organisms will be preferred.
