Minimum qualification required is a degree in physics and experience in (single-molecule) microscopy.  There is a oppurtinuity to closely collaborate with other researchers during the project within the Institute of Complex Molecular Systems.

Key Tasks Involved:

• Developing the necessary protocols to functionalize metallic nanoparticles.
• Using single-molecule optical microscopy to study the kinetics of enzyme-inhibitor interactions.
• Compare your experimental results to theoretical predictions.

Requirements / Qualifications: 

• Degree in physics and experience in (single-molecule) microscopy.

The candidate will be employed by the department of Applied Physics in the group Molecular Biosensing for Medical Diagnostics (MBx).
