Curtin-funded PhD scholarship in Chemical Ecology: This Curtin funded PhD scholarship is offered as part of an ARC Linkage Project “Subterranean invertebrate communities of arid zone Western Australia: diversity, assessment, and food web structure” administered by the University of Adelaide.

The Curtin component of the project focuses on the chemical ecology of the communities, and in particular developing a greater understanding of the food webs via compound specific nitrogen isotope analysis of amino acids. Although this is a chemical ecology project, specialist training will be given and so applications are welcome from candidates with backgrounds in chemistry, biology, geology, environmental science, or other relevant natural science discipline. The successful candidate will be based at Curtin’s main campus in Perth, but will work closely with team members from the University of Adelaide, The Western Australian and South Australian Museums and other project partners.
