The Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry in Prague invites applications for the position of Junior Group Leader in HBV research who would focus his or her program on fundamental unresolved questions of HBV biology (such as latent or occult HBV infection).We are interested in strong creative personalities who would lead the HBV effort at the institute, bring in their own research program and take advantage of the institute‘s strong scientific infrastructure in modern Organic, Bioorganic, Medicinal and Theoretical Chemistry, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. This tenure-track position is comparable to an Assistant Professor at a US university, or to a new investigator position at the Max Planck Institutes. IOCB aims to enhance its character as an international research center and applications from non-Czech scientists are encouraged.
