MBA entry requirements
You may be asked to attend a face-to-face interview. This is conducted by a member of admissions staff or the MBA Programme Director and takes place on campus, in your home country at an agreed time and location, or by Skype.
To apply for the Sheffield MBA you need:
- A good undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification
- Three years to five years’ postgraduate work experience. This should include appropriate experience as a manager or in a supervisory role
- On occasion, the university may consider delegates without a first degree but with significant management experience
Those students who are considered to be the most outstanding as decided by a committee (consisting of the Postgraduate Admissions Director, one of the School’s Admissions Tutors, and the MBA programme director) will be awarded the scholarship.
The students to whom a scholarship will be awarded will receive notification before 31 July 2016. The scholarship will only be valid when the student has met all entry requirements for the MBA programme. The scholarship will be void when the student fails to register for the 2016 intake on the MBA programme.
University of Sheffield Alumni Scholarship
Alumni of a University of Sheffield undergraduate degree are entitled to a scholarship of £1,000 (reduction in fee charged) if they choose to return to the university to study for their MBA.

How to apply
All applicants who have been made a conditional or unconditional offer will be sent an email inviting them to apply for the relevant scholarship. The email will outline all scholarships that the applicant is eligible to apply for.
Closing Date: 6 June 2016. All students who are eligible for a scholarship and have accepted their offer before the closing date will be automatically considered.
