The University of Oulu invites applications for Two postdoctoral researcher positions in Prof. Guoying Zhao’s group (Center for Machine Vision and Signal Analysis Research Unit, CMVS) to work on 1) facial expression and micro-expression analysis, or 2) multi-modal learning.
The main research interests of CMVS are in computer vision and machine learning, affective computing, multimodal image and signal analysis, low-energy computing, and applications in affective human-computer interaction, biometrics, augmented reality, and biomedicine.
Requirements:
- Candidate is expected to hold doctoral degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with previous experience and publications on computer vision or a related area.
- Strong mathematical and programming skills with C/C++/Matlab/python are expected.
- Applicant must have good knowledge of spoken and written English.
Starting date: Feb. 2019 (negotiable)
