The Center for Hybrid Quantum Networks, Hy-Q, Niels Bohr Institute at University of Copenhagen invites applications for 3 PhD fellows within experimental quantum photonics.
Starting date: August 1 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Duration: 3-year period
About the positions:
- All three positions are embedded in the Quantum Photonics Group within the newly established Center of Excellence “Hybrid Quantum Networks Hy-Q.”
- The fundamental and applied research on solid-state quantum-information processing with solid-state quantum emitters embedded in photonic nanostructures will be carrying out.
- The quest of the current research programme is to scale the basic quantum functionalities to obtain large and complex quantum networks.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold an MSc degree in Physics or Engineering with good results and good English skills.
- Applicant with previous publications (if any) and relevant work experience would have an advantage.
