The Department of Public Health at University of Copenhagen invites applications for Five 2-year, full-time positions as postdocs from highly dedicated researchers starting on 15 August 2019, or as soon as possible hereafter.

Requirements:
  • Applicants are required to come forward with a brief outline of proposed research relevant to public health.
  • The outline should include a reference to how the proposed work may relate to the research priority areas of the Department of Public Health.
  • The new topics and research methods not already covered by ongoing research are highly encouraged.
  • The interdisciplinary research including research that may go across several sections at the Department of Public Health and undertaken as part of an international research partnership are also encouraged.
  • The funding provided by the Department of Public Health includes salary for the postdoc, administrative support but only limited provision for research expenses.

Qualifications:

  • A completed PhD
  • Experienced in research methods and theory of relevance for your proposed research
  • Publications in international peer reviewed journals
  • Past experience from an international research environment
  • Enterprising
  • Excellent skills in both written and spoken English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in teams
  • Research project management experience considered an advantage
  • Teaching and supervisory experience at university level considered an advantage
