The department balances pure mathematical research with mathematical research motivated by applications.

Position: Assistant Professor

Location: AMSTERDAM.

Salary: € 3389 to € 5656 in accordance with Dutch academic salary.

Subject Area: computational dynamics, the theory of dynamical systems,  dynamics and data, (evolutionary) PDEs, geometric analysis, geometric flows, dynamics of networks, ergodic theory, stochastic and random dynamics, asymptotic analysis.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree (Ph.D. degree) in mathematics (statistics, data analytics, probability, dynamical systems, geometry and algebra) with a few years of postdoctoral experience also have strong research record, as witnessed by excellent publications, original research projects, and an international network.
