Responsibilities:
  • One student will further develop Sb2Se3 thin films (and/or other chalcogenide materials) towards efficient solar hydrogen production. In addition to overall water splitting, alternative oxidation reactions towards value-added chemicals will be investigated at the (photo) anode.
  • The second student will develop a suite of advanced analytical techniques such as dual working electrode, transient photocurrent/photovoltage, AFM-based electrochemistry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy towards a unified model of PEC systems.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must hold Master’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials science, or a related field.
  • Applications from enthusiastic, collaborative, and creative individuals, with good oral and written communication skills in English are encouraged to apply.
