2 PhD scholarships: Institute of Biotechnology and Food Science, NTNU 2034 views

Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) invites application for 2 PhD scholarships at the Institute of Biotechnology and Food Science. The department has a broad research with many disciplines represented in biotechnology and food science.

Duration: The period is normally 4 years including one year teaching duties, but it may be appropriate to reduce the period of employment up to 3 years without teaching duties.

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must hold Master’s degree or equivalent in Biotechnology, food technology or relevant fields.
  • Applicant must have completed masters with average grade of B or better, or documentation of equivalent level through subsequent research work. Average grade shall be stated in the application.
  • Applicants who delivers thesis before 1 July 2017 are encouraged to apply for research fellowships.
  • Applicant must possess good knowledge of English (both written and oral).

Requirements:

  • To come into consideration for these positions you must contact potential supervisors in the department to prepare a short research proposal to be submitted with the application.
  • Applications without a project will not be considered.
