2 Postdoc Positions in Environmental Chemistry at UQ: Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences (QAEHS) is funded by Queensland Health and The University of Queensland. It is a multidisciplinary research Centre committed to world-class research across the environment health sciences. Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences, the University of Queensland (UQ) invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up the full-time, fixed term 2 positions of Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Environmental Analytical Chemistry available, one to work with Professor Kevin Thomas, the other with Dr Sarit Kaserzon.
About the Position: Selected candidates will conduct independent research within the field of environmental analytical chemistry. The main aim of this project is to establish analytical approaches for target and suspect analytes in human biomonitoring and environmental samples using high-resolution mass spectrometry.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have PhD degree in environmental chemistry, analytical chemistry, toxicology, or other related area, with experience in the research context and experience with extraction and purification techniques for a range of organic contaminants in biotic and abiotic matrices and experience with different sampling techniques for organic pollutants.
