2 Postdoc Positions in Nutritional Sciences at University of Toronto: Dr. Valerie Tarasuk at the Department of Nutritional Sciences, University of Toronto and Dr. Marcelo Urquia at the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy (MCHP), University of Manitoba invite applications for 2 Postdoc fellowships in the Epidemiology of Food Insecurity and Health.

About the Position: Selected candidates join a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)-funded multidisciplinary team of accomplished researchers in Manitoba, Ontario and the US. This research involves the analysis of large and unique linked health and social administrative databases and dietary intake surveys housed at the Statistics Canada Research Data Centres.

Position: Postdoc fellowships

Salary: as per norms

Duration: 1-year temporary training position, with the possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance evaluations.

Closing Date: 29 February 2020.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have PhD, ScD, DrPH, or an equivalent doctoral degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, nutritional sciences, public health, economics, or related fields with Experience conducting statistical analyses with large databases using SAS or Stata. Candidates with Track record of research productivity and Knowledge of food insecurity, social determinants of health, poverty and social policy will be preferred.
