2 Postdoctoral Fellows: Microbiome and Cancer 1392 views

The Department of Microbiome and Cancer at German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) invites applications for two Postdoctoral fellows. The positions are available in the lab of Prof. Elinav. The lab is operating within the new Microbiome & Cancer division at the DKFZ, and with close collaboration with Prof. Elinav’s lab at Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, performs advanced multi-disciplinary research aiming to elucidate the role of the human microbiome in health and a variety of common human multi-factorial disorders.

Start Date: 01.07.2019

Duration: limited to 2 years with the possible extension ​

Requirements:

• Applicant must hold a master’s degree and a PhD in Microbiology, Microbiome, Metabolism, Immunology or other basic science disciplines with an ambition to leading research career and generate important discoveries.
• The successful candidates are self-motivated team players and are interested to work in an ambitious inter-disciplinary topic and to come up with findings with great potential. Interdisciplinary experience is a plus.
