Deputation/Contract Prescribed Educational Qualifications:  A PhD in Life Science / allied discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in teaching and research with evidence of attracting extramural grants.

Experience:

1. A minimum of 10 years of teaching/ research experience.
2. An outstanding professional, with an established reputation in the field related to biotechnology and contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated
   teaching/ learning process.

Designation:  Associate Professor

Age limit: 50 years for Direct Recruitment and 60 years for Deputation/Contract

Deputation/Contract Prescribed Educational Qualifications:  A PhD in Life Science / allied discipline with evidence of independent research and publications of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of attracting extramural
grants.

Experience: For Direct Recruitment:

1. A minimum of 6 years of teaching / research experience.
2. A professional with demonstrated expertise in the field related to biotechnology and contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching / learning process.

Designation: Assistant Professor

Educational Qualifications: An excellent academic record with a PhD Degree in Life Science/allied discipline and evidence of high quality research training in the form of scientific publications or patents.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of productive post-doctoral research work or equivalent experience as a Sr. lecturer / Lecturer teaching post-graduate students.

 Research Areas:

The candidate should have research experience, and interest to pursue research and teaching in any of the following areas:

1. Synthetic Biology and Metabolic Engineering,
2. Fermentation, Scale-up and Downstream Processing,
3. Biocatalysis and Enzyme Engineering,
4. Metagenomics and Microbiome,
5. Antibody Engineering for Therapeutic Applications,
6. Cancer Biology and Therapy,
7. Infectious Disease Biology for Developing Prophylactics and Therapeutics,
8. Plant Biotechnology for Crop Improvements,
9. Big Data Analytics,
10. Computational Biology and Bioinformatics.
