3 Junior Research Officer- (Research, Statistics and Analysis): UPSC 2320 views

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting applications for three Junior Research Officers (Research, Statistics and Analysis).

Remuneration: Level-7 (₹44900-142400) of pay matrix Total Emoluments 44900 plus admissible allowance as per Govt. Rules

Age limit: Not exceeding 30 years as on closing date. Not exceeding 30 years for EWS category candidates as on closing date in respect of the vacancy reserved for them. Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Castes category candidates as on closing date in respect of the vacancy reserved for them.

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must have Master’s Degree in Statistics or Operation Research or Mathematics or Applied Statistics or Applied Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics from a recognized University or Institute

OR

  • Master’s Degree in Economics or Sociology or Psychology or Commerce with Statistics as one of the subjects at Graduate level or Post Graduate level from a recognized University or Institute
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application awarded by any University or ‘A’ level Diploma under the Department of Electronics accredited computer course.

Probation: 02 years
