The Faculty of Law has a strong and distinct international profile both in education and research. The Faculty of Law, Maastricht University invited applications from eligible candidate for filling up 3 PhD position who will carry out research on a topic fitting the Maastricht implementation of the ‘sector plan’ for the Law Faculties.

About the project: at least 80% of the position will be devoted to research and not more than 20% to teaching activities.

Positions: PhD

Salary: € 2.325,00 in the first year according increasing to € 2.972,00 in the fourth year

Duration: 4 years.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have master’s degree in law, preferably with focus on European and/or comparative law and interested in cross-sectorial legal research. Candidates should have strong command of English and willingness to learn Dutch also have excellent organizational skills.
