Australian Centre for Microscopy and Microanalysis (ACMM)  invites online applications from eligible bright candidate for filling up the three vacant Postdoctoral Researchers positions or Postdoctoral Research Fellow positions for 3 years in the Australian Centre for Microscopy and Microanalysis (ACMM) in the home school of the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering (AMME) in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies to tackle frontier issues in advanced manufacturing—exploring the physical metallurgy of 3D printing.

No of Positions: 3 positions (two postdoctoral research associates and a Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate)

Positions: Postdoctoral Research Associate

Location: School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology.

Salary: $104k-123k p.a. (Senior Research Associate) and $92k – $99k (Research Associate) and up to 17% superannuation.

Duration: 3 years.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree PhD in materials science and engineering or a related field having a strong background in physical metallurgy and excellent demonstrated skills in advanced microscopy techniques. Candidates must have Experience in MATLAB and coding in general.
