Netherlands Center for Multiscale Catalytic Energy Conversion (MCEC) at Utrecht University invites applications for 38 PhD positions around Sustainable Energy Conversion. The positions are available for the second phase of the MCEC research programme.

  • Catalyst Diagnostics to Develop More Active Catalysts

Qualifications

  • Applicant must hold excellent master’s degree or an international equivalent in the relevant fields of Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering and/or Materials Engineering;
  • Applicant must have a strong interest in sustainable energy conversion;
  • Applicant must possess excellent research and scientific writing skills;
  • Applicant must demonstrate perseverance and an independent, pro-active working style;
  • Applicant must possess excellent collaboration and communication skills (written and verbally) in English;

Duration: full-time for 4 years

Remuneration: between €2,266 and maximum €2,897
