The GDL-MP Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Biomedicine is inviting applications for Multiple Group Leader Positions.
About the positions:
- The Guangzhou Regenerative Medicine and Health-Guangdong Laboratory (GRMH-GDL) in cooperation with the Max Planck-GIBH Joint Center for Regenerative Biomedicine (MGCRB), are founding a GDL-MPI Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Biomedicine (GDL-MPI) with the focus on basic and translational research on complex lung, heart and neurodegenerative disease research.
- Emphasis will be on the emerging field of advanced cell-reprogramming technologies, stem cell research, organ development, vascularization and disease modeling in stem cell-derived human 3D culture (Organoids) and mouse model systems.
- The Institute will be headed by Duanqing Pei, Yeguang Chen and Hans R. Schöler
Requirements:
- Applications are open to experienced scientists with outstanding basic and/or translational research track record in Embryology, Stem Cell Biology, Neurobiology, Organogenesis, Vascular Biology and/or human iPS-derived 3D culture systems (Organoids) to apply.
- Successful candidates are expected to develop independent and extramurally funded research programs/projects, and to participate in graduate and postdoctoral training programs
