Fujitsu India has announced the launch of the 40th edition of the Fujitsu Scholarship Program for qualified applicants in India.
The selected participants will attend Fujitsu-JAIMS Foundation’s Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge 2019 Fall Course.
The Fujitsu-JAIMS Foundation works with the Hawaii campus (JAIMS) and its Asian partners in a collaboration that is flexible and multi-dimensional.
Fujitsu Limited established the Fujitsu Scholarship program as one of the social contribution efforts in 1985 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Fujitsu’s foundation. Since then, the scholarship has been offered to 542 professionals.
Eligibility Criteria: The applicants should have
- a bachelor’s degree or a degree equivalent to a 4-year standard baccalaureate degree in any discipline from a regionally or nationally accredited institution
- at least three years of full-time work experience and
- A minimum TOEFL score of 577/233/90 (paper/computer/Internet), IELTS (Academic) overall band test result of 6.5 or higher or TOEIC score of 750 from a test taken within the last 5 years at the time of application
Scholarship Details:
- The scholarship covers the tuition and fees for the Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge program offered by Fujitsu-JAIMS Foundation.
- The program features coursework and field work in four countries namely, Japan, U.S.(Hawaii), Singapore and Thailand.
- Living Expenses Stipend would be given
- Fujitsu Ltd. will provide a round-trip air ticket to Japan where the program starts and ends, as well as ticket to participate Hawaii, Thailand, and Singapore Modules of the program.
- The organization will assist in locating appropriate housing in Honolulu for participants.
- A paid accommodation in Japan, Thailand, and Singapore would be provided for the participants.
- Visa Arrangements: When applicable, participant will be assisted in obtaining the M-1 Student visa to enter the U.S. and Japan entry visa for a short stay.
- The expense of obtaining the visas is the financial responsibility of the participant.

All participants must submit 2 formal reports based on their learning during the program upon completion of Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge program.
