5 Scientist ‘B’ positions: Chemistry, Physics, Geo-Physics 3582 views

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites applications for the Scientist ‘B’ positions under Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Developement & Ganga Rejuvenation, Central Soil & Materials Research Station.

Number of positions:

Chemistry: 1

Physics: 2

Geo-Physics: 2

Remuneration: Level – 10 (Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500/-) in the Pay Matrix as per CCS (R.P.) Rules, 2016. (Total emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 56,100/- plus DA as applicable per month approximately).

Age limit: Not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward Class candidates as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time.

Essential Qualification:          

• Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Physics/Geo-Physics from a recognized University or Institute.
• Three years’ experience in the field of Chemistry/Physics/Geo-Physics.

Note Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the UPSC, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of the candidates otherwise well qualified.
