Late Shri G. P. Birla scholarship has been established to carry forward the prized dream Shri Birla, the celebrated Industrialist and Philanthropist, to promote education, develop human resources and empower the youth of the Country.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must be meritorious students from West Bengal
- Applicant must have passed class 12th examination in the year 2016
- Applicant must have secured 80% marks or more from State Board or 85% or more from Central Board or have secured rank in top 15000 in AIEEE/JEE/AIPMT Tests
- Applicant must be in need of financial help to pursue further studies.

Scholarship amount
- Cover Tuition-Fees and Hostel Fees
- 50,000/- per student per year
- Onetime payment of Rs. 7000/- towards purchase of Books in 1st Year
Number of Scholarship:
- 65 selected students for one year at a time
- to be continued till completion of the Course on yearly basis
- subject to satisfactory performance by the Student in the preceding year
Application Procedure:
- Applications may be advanced through the Head of the Institution from which the Student has passed Class 12th or where they have taken admission.
- Applicant who meet the above criteria of merit, and need financial assistance for pursuing further studies, may apply in the prescribed Proforma, available in download section by sending a completed application form with enclosures to:-
