About the Project: The available positions cover a wide variety of topics, including cutting edge quantum physics and chemistry, biochemistry and cell biology, material science, nanotechnology.

1: Quantum dynamics of an ultracold ion coupled to a nanomechanical oscillator.

2: Nanoscale mechanical energy dissipation in quantum systems and 2D-materials.

3: Picoscopic mass analysis of mammalian cells progressing through the cell cycle.

4: High-throughput multiplexed microfluidics for antimicrobial drug discovery.

5: Image the twist!.

6: Andreev Spin Qubit (ASQ) in GeSi Nanowires.

7: Bioinspired nanoscale drug delivery systems for efficient targeting and safe in vivo application.

8: Development and application of new machine learning models for the quantitative prediction of biomolecular interactions.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have Post Graduate Degree in Natural Sciences, ideally in a topic relevant for the respective project with abilities to work independently, interact with other researchers, presentation skills, and a solid basis in scientific research with a high motivation to work in an interdisciplinary project.
