Essential Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech, Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation or Masters Degree in Physics, Electronics, Instrumentation,Geophysics / Meteorology) from a recognized University/ Institution with at least 60% marks.
- A minimum of 3 years research experience in the relevant field.
Desirable Qualification:
- M.Tech (Atmospheric Science/Climate Science) with 60% marks or Ph.D. in any of the above subjects would be a desirable qualification.
- Research Experience supported by publications in good impact journals would be an added
advantage.- Working knowledge of Aerosol instrumentation (SMPS, Cloud probes. Precipitation instruments (Disdrometers)
- Experience in conducting radiosonde flights.
- Handling of large volume of data and conversant with data format like NetCDF, HDF, GRIB etc.
- Ability to work in group and in remote environments._
