AAUW stands for The American Association of University Women. It awards International Fellowships for full-time study or research in the United States to women who are not United States citizens or permanent residents.

The fellowship supports both graduate and postgraduate studies at accredited institutions in USA.

Scholarship value:

  • Master’s/Professional Fellowship: $18,000
  • Doctorate Fellowship: $20,000
  • Postdoctoral Fellowship: $30,000
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Applicants must be women
  • The applicants must have citizenship of a country other than the United States.
  • The applicant if residing in the United States should be in possession of a nonimmigrant visa.
  • Women holding dual citizenship in the United States and another country are not eligible.
  • The applicants should have a degree that is equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree.
  • The degree should be attained by 30th September 2018 as well as the application to the proposed institutions of study must be made by the time of the application.
