Centre for bioinformatics is hosted by the Department of Informatics, and is organized across the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural sciences, University of Oslo, invites online applications from highly motivated applicants for  as administrative coordinator / scientist is available for three years at the Centre for Bioinformatics to help in coordination, planning and execution of centre activities, such as scientific meetings and workshops, visits from individuals and group.

Position: administrative coordinator/scientist

Salary: NOK 532 300 – 667 200 per year depending on  qualifications and seniority.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates must have PhD Degree within bioinformatics, or related domains, such as computer science, genetics, genomics, molecular biology or similar, with strong practical experience within bioinformatics and ability in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

Desirable: Candidates with research experience in Genome dynamics, Comparative genomics, Precision medicine will be given preference.
