Award is in the form of “supplements” and is obtainable to scholars who are, or will be, in receiving of an Australian PG Award (APA) or equivalent honor, and for as long as that Award is present subject to reasonable growth.

Qualifications:

• Applicants shall complete or expect to complete within six months of recommendation,
• Degree of B.Sc (Hons), BE or equivalent from recognized university.

Location:

• For the purpose of getting training and using the amenities in connection with the permitted research project, student will be required to spend a considerable period (not less than four weeks per year) attached to ANSTO at Lucas Heights, or other AINSE supported facilities.

Project:

• The project shall be planned by the nominating organization and shall be straightforwardly concerned with AINSE’s fields of concern. The study will normally need the use of the unique facilities at ANSTO. It is anticipated that the university will employ a suitably capable member of team from ANSTO as a co-supervisor of the venture.  The co-supervisor shall be in charge for ensuring that the ANSTO services and facilities needed for the study are made accessible in the year of the Award.
